Delete your account
Two ways to do it. Either one deletes your account and everything in it.
In the app
- Open Account from the bottom bar.
- Tap Delete account, at the bottom.
- Confirm. Your account, books and photos are deleted right away, and you're signed out.
By email
From the email address on your account, send a message to support@picflips.app with the subject "Delete my account". If you signed in with Apple using a hidden relay address, send it from the relay address or include the name on the account. We'll confirm within 7 days.
What gets deleted
- Your account and sign-in.
- Every show, deal, draft, photo, inventory item, cost, price and note you created, and your plan.
- Your seller card, its public page and logo, and your invite code.
- The copies of your photos the app keeps on your phone, and any snaps still waiting there to upload.
- Your helper links: your helpers lose access to your books. Snaps you took as a helper in someone else's show stay in that vendor's books, because the deal is theirs.
When
In the app, right away. By email, within 7 days of your request. Copies in our backups are gone within 30 days. Deleted data can't be recovered, so export anything you want to keep first (email us for a copy).
What we keep
- Apple and Google keep their own records of any purchases you made through them; we can't delete those.
- We keep what the law requires us to keep, such as basic billing records, for as long as it requires.
- De-identified deal prices: the item, its grade, the price and the day, with nothing that links them to you, your shows or your buyers. They help build market prices, and we never try to trace them back to anyone.
Cancel your subscription too
Deleting your account doesn't cancel an App Store or Google Play subscription. Cancel it in your store account settings, or it may renew.
